Our freezes are what's going to make us or break us. Freezes are very impressive if they are precise but if there are small movements during a freeze its better to not even have them. I think they add a lot to our show so when we freeze we need to commit.
ReplyDeleteHere is a fun fact about steel mills: the average sound level is 110 decibels. That is 40 decibels louder than the average human pain threshold.
ReplyDeleteAfter World War II, the U.S. steel industry faced increased competition from Japanese and European producers, who rebuilt and modernized their industries. Later, many Third World countries, such as Brazil, built their own steel industries, and large U.S. steelmakers faced increased competition from smaller, nonunion mills ( "mini-mills" ) that recycle scrap steel.
ReplyDeleteHere is a fun fact about the weather in 1938 Canada! Some days they would get in exess of 10cm of snow!
ReplyDeleteWith the dirt bowl happening at the same time as when this play went on, the weather varried extremely. One day being 120 degrees to the next day being very very cold!
ReplyDeleteGood job to everyone at area. Regional is only a week a way, so don't stop working now. Everyone has come so far, and in such a short amount of time. Everyone here works so hard, and no matter what is asked it is done to the best of your ability. The biggest things we need to work on are still accents and diction. If we can get these things down that will make the play that much more enjoyable. Keep working hard, and don't quit yet. :)
ReplyDeleteThe freezes are better. Remember! : freeze your eyes and do not move tour signs during the freeze. Tucker you are doing such a good job on working with your upstage hand and turning the right way keep it up! :]
ReplyDeleteThe freezes are getting better, but they have to perfect for regionals. Freeze those eyes. I love how Tucker is yanking Allison's hair back now rather than pushing her down.
ReplyDeleteThe yelling was getting to be a bit too much. Try gritting your teeth, or whispering instead. Same emotional content, less hysterical screech.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to use my pencil more because I am a person who would write my thoughts down all the time. what if I carry a clipboard with me everywhere so I have my pencil. I'll work on that.
ReplyDeleteOur strike scene is getting better. Our people noises vary we need to be strong at all times with this. We have done great and made it a long way. Im proud of everyone. Keep up this hard work and we will do great!
