Now that we have the play to where we can go through it, we need to work on the smaller details. Especially transitions and accents. Some of the transitions are good and some of them are a little rough. Great job to everybody. Keep working hard.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we are so close to contest. A idea I had while watching the play on Sunday was right before Nate gets beat up type could hit the metal with the sledge hammer to signal the gate to become the scabs
ReplyDeleteI think that there needs to be more touching between background characters. You need to show that you guys have known each other for years.
ReplyDeleteBecause Kelly puts on her hat to look more professional in front of the photographer, I think that Mr. Hilton needs to put on his suit jacket, at least, and maybe his hat. I don't know if Frank woul dress up for the photographer or not. He might not have even known the photographer was going to be there.
ReplyDeleteGuys, we have come so far, from the absolute worst play I have ever seen to a really great show. But if we don't keep working, we will never get to see it blossom into the masterpiece it was truly meant to be.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Ty, we all need to continue working hard and polish our play to perfection, me included.. We don't want to peak to early but we want to be great at district so if we continue to work hard it will come out as it should.
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs to know who they are as a character, favorite foods, radio stations, beliefs, best friend. Study your nationality and ingrain yourself into your character. And good job everyone.
ReplyDeleteAs actors we need to be more of a family, we have known eachother for years and the strike is huge deal for all of us. And in charcter we need to show all emotions. Me and graham need to work to have as much engery as hayden. He cant be the only one with a ton of energy. Overall good job guys keep up the good work and good atitudes at practices. It does nothing but makes us better as a whole!
ReplyDeleteI agrees with Carson. There is a reason we do character sketches at the beginning of the year. It is to figure those things out! If we know our favorite things it makes our characters more believable and it needs to be like we are not just is anymore we have to be a whole new person.
ReplyDeleteMe and Jared do I have to keep on working on showing affection. Now that we have all the lines and scences down, we've got to start working on the little things that will make us stand out.
ReplyDeleteDuring the first development of unions and before women were able to work alongside men, women would often pass out fliers and do other behind the scenes work for the union. They would also file papers and other things that had to do with organization.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are doing great from what I've saw in class anf from what I've heard...y'all still have a lot of work to do keep working hard and having fun too...y'all still have a while to go but it'll come sooner than you think...keep your head up and y'all will do amazing
