  2. We got through a huge amount of the play tonight (Monday 14th)! Good job guys! I know we're still in the early stages but we all really need to buckle down and put as much effort into making this play amazing as we do our texting. Each practice needs to be given 110% of our attention and we need to start acting a little more serious about competition. Paying attention to where we need to be, not talking or texting, knowing our lines and trying our accents will all help us get closer to advancing from district and us doing what we know we need to do will take a huge amount of stress off of Couch who's really excited for this season, trying her hardest to make sure we understand everything about Canada, our accents and backgrounds. She would do anything for any of us. The least we can do is pay attention and do as we're told. Let's be the best we can be for her and ourselves.

Accents are getting better the more they are being used. The strikers need to watch the ones in 'To See The Stars' for some tips on moving like strikers and using the signs. I can even help you guys if needed since I was a striker last year for most of the play. Freezes are hard to get down and master but with some work, they can really add a lot to a show, for example the fight scene in 'To See The Stars' where the boy are beating up the girls. Those freezes added so much to the whole entire show and granted they weren't the most solid freezes but we can make ours better. Music needs to be louder and light cross fades need to be smoother. WE need to work on the transitions from Miss Kelly and Mr. Hilton's scenes to the next because we always just stop for a minute because no one knows how to go into the next scene.

  3. I was a little confused on the whole Rock of Gibraltar line. I have heard that phrase before, but in books. It isn't a common phrase around here and someone could easily misunderstand it. Rock of Gibraltar is an expression used to describe a person or situation that cannot be overcome and does not fail. So would Reg be talking about Alice, the women's union or both?
