·
Actors, come up
with something new about your character such as a fault and implement it into
your character. Habits can be
something like a nervous habit or something you do everyday that shows what
your character is like. Your
characters are becoming flat so breathe life into them.Faults can be anything
that will make us see a different side of your character and lets us
understand more about why they are the way they are.
·
Wait for Ty to
hit before attacking Nate.
·
Men in the back
at the beginning need to look poised to hit.

Fascist : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralizedautocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Hayden
|
Don’t squint your eyes.
|
Savannah and Graham
|
Be careful that you are not pushed out
of the scenes.
|
Jared
|
SLOW DOWN. Think about what you are saying. You are the thinker and the mediator of the
group.
In and out of the accent.
Could have been killed – too fast.
|
Ty
|
Good job, reacting to Hayden being in
your way.
Don’t laugh.
|
Tucker
|
Watch out talking upstage with your
back to the audience.
Good people noise when you fell off the
ladder.
|
Hannah
|
Watch squeaking.
Louder in scene 22.
You’ve got to lead these men – accents
Be more panicked when you ask for water
after Nate is hit.
|
Savannah
|
Even if you don’t have lines, be in
character at all times. Someone will be watching. We have three judges.
Good job shaking the water out of the umbrella.
|
Cheyanne
|
Put your head down when you ‘re the
gate.

Hannah and Jared
|
Rock of Gibralter is funny. The old judges will know this.
|
Paige
|
Slow down when you are angry. Lower
voice.

Lost your accent in the second Hilton

Contrary to popular belief Prince Albert tobacco was not i repeat not Canadian it was American How ever bucking ham picobac and a few others are Canadian tobacco companies
ReplyDeleteIn the little boy scene Paige is making her little yell at the end sound like a girls voice. Her entire voice needs to come down for that scene especially that giggle at the end because it sounds like last years in that scene between Ty and her.
ReplyDeleteIn the voting scene people need to react to me more. Hayden is the only one I see react whenever he sees me. Ty does a good job once I ask him for his identification.
I will make sure to turn the fire on when it winter and off when it is summer. I know we are all trying our best but we really have to kick it into high gear! District Competition is coming up quickly! We dont want it to bite us in the butt!
ReplyDeleteI really need to work on noticing Tucker and his drinking problem and react slowly to how this is effecting our marraige. I need to figure out the weather also.
ReplyDeleteThink of the weather here, last week it was snowing and today it's 65 degrees. The weather there is more extreme, sub zero to mid 90's we have to show that, it's a huge difference
ReplyDeleteWe all need to memorize the seasons and the weather that comes along with that in each scene. I also need to work on my accent
ReplyDeleteWe are all doing a great job. Our play is coming along quite nicely and our hardwork will only make it that much better.
ReplyDeleteBlog 1- We need to get the seasons down and act and react to the season we are in.
Blog 4- Our accents tend to go in and out and we are all at fault of that. We need to do what Mrs.Kuehler said and talk in our accents quite frequently.
Blog 5- Stage business is key to having a good play. With all of us on stage alot we must be doing something that has to do with the steel mill. All of us must perform good stage business if we are to have a great play with a great cast (which we have).
Seasons are very important1 We need to have our jackets on stage to transfer from, season to season. Keep in character and keep accents.
ReplyDeleteBlog 5: Work on train scene and freezes. We have improved a lot in this scene.
I really need to work on my voice, and make sure I do not squeak. We also all have to work on the weather, and make sure we are reacting to the temperature change.
ReplyDeleteI think that hannah should wait a second before she turns off the radio. It is starting to look like she is just waiting for her lines and going through the motions. She need to look like she is expecting Michelle to say more than she hears the music and know that it is over.
ReplyDeleteWe need to get the weather down, if we don't invite the audience into the world that we lives in it makes it unbelievable and there not good.. We have to convine the judges we are these people
ReplyDeleteWe need to work on accents all of us, me included. Accents are killers at contest.. If the judges dot believe our accents it makes our characters flawed as well.. The play could be ruined by the little things we don't pay attention to
ReplyDeleteI don't know if anyone remembers the Moroccan scene from the merchant of Venice, but each of us had a unique action or sort of habit we did.. We had all different personalities even though we didn't have any lines.. I think we're all the same when we make people noises.. We should all look at Cody for an example.. Everyone needs to find something their character would do
ReplyDeleteThe things that are bothering me the most would have to be the weather. Sometimes everyone is right but at other times everyone is mismatched. This will be one of the things that the judges notice. Overall great work to everyone, and keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteAllison you and Tucker improve so much every practice. You put so much work in to your character and it really shows. You never complain and you always do what is asked. Keep up the good work.
Sorry I missed Saturday, guys. Now we need to bear down, focus, and make this the best dang play those cooper ... jerks, to be blog-appropriate, have ever seen.
