  1. In the Stelco strike over 2,000 employees were on strike for better week hours and better wages.

  2. So I have a question... I know that working at the Stelco steel mill was hard labor, like HARD labor. That being so how many deaths during the deppression did Stelco relate to directly?

    Kayla, not only were the workers at Stelco on strike, but there were strikes going on in other companies in Hamilton at the same time.

  4. I think by doing this play, it will really help us come to grips with how the workers felt, and give us a tad bit of insight. Just by looking at these photos, gets mw excited to get into these characters and bring this production to life!
